Un projet municipal de traitement des eaux usées à grande échelle aux Philippines a intégré un système d'ultrafiltration (UF) en tant que prétraitement avant l'osmose inverse (RO). Ce système d'UF a été conçu pour offrir une capacité totale de production d'eau de 68 000 m³/j, permettant ainsi à l'eau traitée de répondre aux exigences en matière d'eau d'alimentation de l'osmose inverse.
