As \u00e1guas residuais tinham de ser tratadas para cumprir os requisitos de descarga antes de serem lan\u00e7adas em massas de \u00e1gua pr\u00f3ximas.<\/p>\n<p>As \u00e1guas residuais da pecu\u00e1ria cont\u00eam normalmente poluentes org\u00e2nicos e requerem um tratamento biol\u00f3gico est\u00e1vel combinado com uma separa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3lido-l\u00edquido
