Several water quality indicators exceeded the required limits, including ammonia, nitrate, E. coli, total bacterial count, iron, and manganese. Among these issues, nitrate was the most critical, while ammonia, iron, and manganese were slightly above standard limits.<\/p>\n<p>To meet drinking water requirements, the project adopted a combined treatment process. Disinfection and activated carbon filtration were used to handle microbial indicators and slightly excessive ammonia, iron, and manganese. RO treatment was applied to reduce nitrate levels, while ion exchange water and RO permeate were blended to achieve the required final water quality.<\/p>\n<h2>Soluci\u00f3n de tratamiento<\/h2>\n<p>The project uses two parallel treatment lines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carbon Filter + Ion Exchange System: 28.8m\u00b3\/h<\/li>\n<li>Carbon Filter + RO System: 28.8m\u00b3\/h<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The RO permeate and ion exchange product water are mixed to produce drinking water.
